Been gone a while? What was I doing?

Well, I've been away from blogging cuz I just got a new PC. I've been running on a dual-core AMD Athlon 64x2 system for a while, but couldn't pass up on this amazing deal on a Dell Inspiron 530 Quad Core Q6600. After the discounts and the $50 Dell Bucks promo, I'm getting this system for about $440 with a 4 year warranty. OMG.

I was so stoked when it finally arrived and I immediately dumped the 250gb HD and put into two 500gb drives to setup RAID-0. Ugh, NOPE. Dell, you guys suck. I immediately discovered RAID-0 was *disabled* in their custom BIOS. I knew this was a common complaint amongst those in the modding community, but never thought I would become a victim. Apparently, Dell cripples a lot of their systems. Kudos Dell! Not...

Anyways, I discovered this guys site with a solution to the problem. He found a non-crippled BIOS (since this is a pretty standard Intel board) with full RAID functionality. Click pic below to see...
